A Paul Allen, the Microsoft co-founder, led team, has found the sunken Japanese warship called Musashi, which is one of the biggest battleships ever made. According to reports, it was sunk during the 2nd World War off the coast of Philippines, said the billionaire, on Wednesday.
The whole team took Allen’s yacht the M/Y Octopus, depending on the advanced technology of the ship, detailed topographical data and historical records to find out as well as click pictures of the warship in Sibuyan Sea on Sunday, finishing a decades-long mystery regarding its exact location, said a statement on Allen’s website.
United States aircraft sank Musashi on 24th Oct, 1944, killing over one thousand Japanese, or around half crew of the vessel.
