Themis, the motor yacht of length 47.5 meters has now been listed for sale.

It has been listed by Fletcher Daves and Frank Grzeszczak at IYC. It was earlier sold by Bob Cury of RJC Yacht.

The yacht was built in aluminum and wood, the yacht was constructed by the US yard Trinity Yachts, with its in-house design team and was delivered to its owner in the year 1999. It has been maintained to ABS class. The high-volume interior of Themis features African and mahogany pear wood joinery. In the Themis, the dining and saloon areas are comfortable and a wonderful option for dining areas and relaxation area. The yacht offers the accommodation to 10 guests in its five cabins. In the result of the combined Youth National and ISA Pathway Championships that took place on Belfast Lough, the classes of sailing were spoiled for choice in a number of stand-out performances.

The Yacht Club Ballyholme and its strong army of 70 volunteers, delivered event with a lot of space for three course areas, and interestingly, it was between medium to very-light winds.

The under-19 year olds line-up Crowning, Ewan McMahon the world Silver medalist of the Howth Yacht club had the finest show of consistency. The Laser Radial class was won by him.

ISA development & youth manager Rory Fitzpatrick said on the occasion. “He is like the iceman – though he doesn’t win races in number, but he can be seen always at the front,”

However, for Fitzpatrick, the Laser Radials for him the big stand-out was Aaron Rodgers and Conor Quinn of Rush Sailing Club who secured the second and the third position. Read More

The countries are investing more on sports to make it outperforming incoming event. In the series United Kingdom has announced that it will increase the fund for Olympic and Paralympic 2020. Amount of £345m will be spent on sports persons who are going to take part in Olympic Games and Paralympic Games; the amount will be spent on 31 players.

According to reports the out of £345m fund given for preparation of Olympic and Paralympic Games, £26,231,379 will for sailing Olympic events. For Rio 2016 Olympic Sailing team of UK received the fund of £25,504,055 for preparation. So, there is increased in the fund for 2020 Olympic preparation. A Paul Allen, the Microsoft co-founder, led team, has found the sunken Japanese warship called Musashi, which is one of the biggest battleships ever made. According to reports, it was sunk during the 2nd World War off the coast of Philippines, said the billionaire, on Wednesday.

The whole team took Allen’s yacht the M/Y Octopus, depending on the advanced technology of the ship, detailed topographical data and historical records to find out as well as click pictures of the warship in Sibuyan Sea on Sunday, finishing a decades-long mystery regarding its exact location, said a statement on Allen’s website.

United States aircraft sank Musashi on 24th Oct, 1944, killing over one thousand Japanese, or around half crew of the vessel.
